All About Me!!

Students and Families,

I am absolutely thrilled that I have the pleasure of working with you this year! This will be my 4th year teaching, all of which have been at Kellybrook in third grade. I think third grade is an incredibly important year for students because we really learn to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, learn to collaborate, and be innovative in the way we learn. The other third grade teachers and I work very hard to make sure this is a fun and exciting year for kids.

A little about me: I have been married to my husband for almost four years and we have a wonderful, young daughter named Flora, who is one. We share in our desire to be of service to others, as helps build and renovate homes for Habitat for Humanity as his career. When we're not busy trying to change the world, we enjoy spending time with friends, cooking, gardening, cheering on the Royals, exploring our fine city and enjoying our families.

This year will be filled with making wonderful memories and I know it will end with many lasting relationships. You can count on me to communicate with you about your child's successes throughout the year and work with you as a team to guarantee that each child's needs are met. I can't wait to get to know each of you very soon!

Here's to the best year yet!
